Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Ride

Planning a wedding shuttle, bar crawl, brewery tour, private party, or group ride across Montana? Here are a few common questions we hear after a booking is started.

“We booked the bus, now what?”

Once your down payment is paid and you have received your contract, you are all set until the week of your event. Our logistics manager will be in contact when the itinerary needs to be updated. You are also welcome and encouraged to reach out anytime questions or updates come up.

“Where do we go? How many stops can we do?”

We drive anywhere within Montana, subject to a travel fee depending on your location. You are welcome to brainstorm ideas with our logistics manager. As a general starting point, we usually recommend about 2–3 bars for each 4-hour block. We also have frequent watering holes and good rapport with many bars to help make your ride a great time.

“We booked you for a wedding. Can we do multiple trips within the block of hours we booked?”

Absolutely. We structure our bookings by blocks of time so you can fit in as many trips as needed, rather than charging by mileage. We recommend each trip has at least 5–10 passengers at a time, depending on the bus being used. Our logistics manager works with you to plan a schedule that accommodates your guests and wedding-day needs.

“How does the music work? Do all the buses come with a DJ?”

Only our Large Black Party Bus includes a DJ upon request for a $300 DJ fee. All other buses have an awesome sound system where you can plug in a phone and “play DJ.” We strongly recommend downloading your playlist ahead of time in case you travel somewhere with spotty service. The mountains can put a real damper on the vibe if you lose your playlist.

“Can we bring alcohol on board?”

Yes. These buses are designed to help you relax, enjoy the ride, and avoid drinking and driving. All passengers must be over the age of 21, or a permission slip must be signed in order for an underage passenger to ride along.

“What types of drinks are allowed on the bus?”

Cans and liquor bottles are allowed on board, but we discourage glass items such as wine glasses and beer bottles. Drinks are not allowed to be taken off the bus at any time. Drinks from bars may be brought back onto the bus in plastic cups.

“How much do people usually tip?”

Most groups use the standard 18–20% range, but you are welcome to tip what you feel is appropriate for your driver and experience.

“Are there seatbelts on the bus? What if I need to bring my child on the bus?”

Kids are more than welcome to enjoy the bus, and they usually love it. Not all of our buses have built-in seatbelts, so it is ultimately up to the guardian’s comfort level. Passengers 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

“Are there any additional outside fees?”

We charge a $50 cleaning fee for each bus. In extreme cases, such as puke, stains, or heavier cleanup needs, the cost may be higher. A travel fee may also apply depending on your pickup location, usually ranging from $300–$500 depending on the trip details.

“When do we pay the final balance?”

We collect the final balance on the following business day after each event. That way, if you decide to extend your time while on the bus or include a tip for your driver at the end, we can calculate that into the final bill.
